    Ego-dystonic harming obsessions

    If you are are confident that the patient is no longer at risk for acting out her urges, treatment protocols (e.g. Exposure with Response Prevention) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder would be indicated.

    Also, consider recommending the serotonergic medications - SSRI's or Chlomipramine.
