The intensity, severity, and sometimes bizarre quality of OCD can make the treatment of this disorder seem overwhelming. This workshop will provide a summary of the state-of-the-art and a framework for developing an effective approach to treatment. It will discuss how to choose between available treatment options, principles of effective intervention, suggestions for overcoming impasses, and what can be done when outpatient treatment is not sufficient. Participants will each receive their own copy of the Expert Consensus Guidelines on the Treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Objectives: Participants will learn the principles of effective intervention with OCD, will know how to choose between available treatment options, and will be able to apply specific techniques in the treatment of OCD. N. Olmsted, OH, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., $100 ($90 with group discount). For brochure with details call 216-831-1191 and leave mailing address.
