You might also want to add Young's Schema-focused Therapy. He outlines a number of different schemas, or belief-based frameworks, that people tend to live by. We all operate on a number of different schemas. It's only when our schemas are so rigid and intense that they interfere with our interpersonal effectiveness that they become problematic. Schemas gotten out of hand, according to Young, are the basis for personality disorders.
