I can relate to your description of your experience with a narcicistic husband. I am in the throws of a divorce with a narcicistic man. I have endured 9 years of marriage with this man and many therapists. The therapy was intended for me...so he says...because there is definitely something wrong with me! Anyway, to the point, we have two children ages 8 and 4. He is determined to control their every manner as well as mine. How can I teach my children to not be this way? How can I tools can I teach them in order to deal with this type of personality. He will always be their dad.... In addition, how do I react with him during the negotiating stages of divorce. He tries to belittle me, has hidden assets, taken money, etc etc etc. Am I nasty right back? Or, do I just play the patience game to finally get a mutually fair settlement?
