Checkout my post to Anguished above (same date as this). Why not do research on the father-daughter archetype, which needs eulicidation--but at the same time has been avoided because of shame. You are an intelligent young woman looking for a suggestion for a science fair project---in a real sense you are actually making a call to the archetype itself. And here I am playing the father by responding to your request. "Fathers" are vulnerable to this kind of request; and "daughters" are often grateful, because it's the help they've wanted...you've given a coded message to "fathers", a request for wisdom. Do you see where this is going? How would you devise an experiment to bring this dynamic to greater general consciousness so that the guilt and shame surrounding this dynamic could be dissolved? And at the same time have the science fair judges consider your project to be a good one? Whoaaa. That is a tall order. Takes a lot of wisdom to solve that dilemma. It's likely this post in response to yours will draw fire, because it is a delicate, difficult topic. Anyway. Whatever project you come up with, I'm sure you will do well! (Now there is a fatherly statement!) In all seriousness and with good humor,
Emilio
