Hi. I am a special education teacher. I work with children who have conduct disorders and speech delays. Usually, I reccommend a small class setting for the children with conduct disorders and use positive and negative reinforcement, modeling and cuing to help change behavior. If these techniques do not work, i try to identify the symptomatic behavior and do research myself or reccomend neurological and psychological testin. There are some cases where these things do not work. I am reluctant as are many parents to put their kids onn drugs... Also, what do you think about the bio-chemical factors involved in the eating disorder Anorexia ? HAve you studied bio-chemical research theories or therapies for it? I'd be thrilled if you could respond to it's entirity. Alisa
