    Martin,

Just read your bio... and wanted you to know that I am a poetry therapist studying art therapy and about to receive a masters in counseling psych and trying to figure out what kind of Ph.D to do. Ah yes, a glutton for academic punishment. what is interesting to me is that I utilize a combination of poetry therapy and arts therapy in my work. They work incredibly well together. I have spent a year specializing in the use of poetry and art therapy with battered women and their families. I also did work with psychiatric patients last year and was able to get them to write poetry about the arts process and what they felt while engaged in it. The art seems to stimulate the poetics without much effort. It just flows from one process to another and leaves me, the witness, in awe of it all. So much beauty, so much of the time. If you have an direct email we can communicate more fully ...

    Thanks!
