Dear Freddo, The reason why I posted this message on the pay of art therapists is due to some books, stories and NHS articles I have read and researched.Yes...money is one factor that affects me, but it is not the only one. In this time and age, the more qualifications you earn, the more rewarding your choosen profession is. I am planning to do a PgDip, MSc and PhD in art therapy, but to do so I will need to fund myself in some way. These courses are expensive to fund especially the ones in London. The main reason I wish to become an art therapist is to help those who are mentally ill and to provide them hope and a future in life. Furthermore, I have experience in using art as a personal therapy. I hope I have made my intentions clear that I am not some money- pinching "scum". Frank
