children's drawings

first let me say that a book on art therapy by cathy malchiodi is what got me hooked on the idea of art therapy!

here's my question...

do drawings of snowpersons have any significance? I have seen snowmen/snowpeople depicted in drawings by several abused children and adults who were abused as children (physically, emotionally and possibly sexually abused), but I can't find reference to it in any art therapy books that I have accessed.
