Re: I'd like to be an art therapist

I have a bachelors degree in Psychology from Murray State University (1993). I was somewhat disenchanted with the field of psychology after graduation and worked for a short time as a social worker. I haven't been involved in Social Services related work for a few years, but I have been very involved in the arts community in my area. I have considered pursueing a career in Art therapy but don't know much about it. You mentioned Southern Illinois University in your reply to Melissa McClaire. Do you know anything about the art therapy program at SIU? Is it well known, or highly rated? I live in a neighboring town but I haven't checked out the program yet. Would love some feedback.
