You are fortunate to have several graduate art therapy programs in Illinois (you need a Master's degree in art therapy to practice as an art therapist). The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, University of Illinois in Chicago, Adler School of Professional Psychology, and University of Southern Illinois to name a few. Call their admissions office to get a list of prerequisites, and you'll have a clearer idea of what you'll need.
