Thanks, Elissa. I am glad to hear that there is such stringent requirements, as I was worried from the quality of some of these posts that some people were into stuff they were not qualified to do, thus, merely using "a bag of tricks." I am fascinated by sandtray therapy especially. I see it as such a versatile medium, so beautifully designed. I am starting to collect stuff such as workbooks, toys, and games to add to my counseling repertoire. Do you know where I can start collecting all these miniatures? I know they sell stuff like that in counselor catalogues, but we had the same deal in recreation therapy; cool gadgets for old nursing home people to use while propped up in geri-chairs, but do you know, I often found the same stuff in toy departments for about 1/3 the catalogue price (in the catalogue they were featured as "specialized" but anyone with an ounce of sense figured out they were often the same as just regular toys) So, I am looking for a reasonably priced source of Kalff-like miniatures. I am doing my internship right now, and in working with minor clients, I find it necessary to add some sort of physical bridge between us. I have used The Ungame with great success, Jenga, and am going to try using Candyland with a youngster I am getting who is Oppositional.
