dual disability - arts therapies, mental illness and alchohol or substance addiction/abuse

is anybody using arts therapies with a focus in mental health upon the drug and or alchohol addiction and the illness? We are getting more and more presenting with both and I would like to begin a group program offering arts therapies as a tool..... suggestions, stories, experiences appreciated. We are a rural service with a lot of isolated users.....
