Marion Milner - "On not being able to paint" published by Heinemann. I also know off an Modern English Woman artist who had been diagnosed with Manic depression and healed herself through her art but her name skips my mind at the moment but I will let you know when it emerges from the brains filing cabinets!!! Good luck...it's just emerged with a few cobwebs brushed out the way...Mary Barnes...she has written a book about her experience but I don't know the title or when it was published.
