Interaffectivity?

    Shame and Affect Theory (Nathanson)

    Donald Nathansson!

I am interested in intersubjectivity and I wonder, did you write something about interaffectivity?

It is reasonable to think that the "empathic wall" is one reason for us to be in an intrasubjectiv world, an intrasubjectiv world that in one way is a myth and a defense.

The idea of interaffectivity has a problem. How can you affect another person? Did you solve that problem?

Shame is,by the way, not easily reduced to an internal organic emotion only, in my opinon. I think Freud has more substance in his view that it is related to sex. But one opinion is as good as another until the "truth" is said.
