shame and gay/lesbian research

I am a doctoral student in a Psy.D program at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentcuky. I'm coming up on my dissertation and am interested in areas of gay/lesbian issues and shame. I am requesting any guidance about research concerning gay/lesbian and shame issues. I have looked into PsychLit and Medline and found "4" articles. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. I found this sight a few months ago and have been reading as much as I can. It has been a God send to find people who discuss so well, the thoughts I've muddled for years. I've always felt that affect is where it's at. I have a list of questions, but I will read more before I submit them. Thanks so much for the validation.
