Greetings from Australia

Hello and thanks for a fascinating read! I'm an Australian family therapist working, studying and researching in the prevention and early intervention of family violence. I have been very interested to read your conversation on violence and abuse, and hope to join in. I am particularly interested in Rich Kuyper's ideas for working with violent men. My current job is managing a resource centre for therapists who do this work in Victoria. I would like to hear more of your work Rich, could you email me? I am a beginner in the realm of shame, however, and have read half of 'Shame and Pride" so far, and a selection of the message here. I have a great interest in the connections between intimacy, empathy and violence and am doing some research with adolescents and their families in this area. I would like to share some of my ideas with you and get some feedback as well, and will post again soon. Cheers for now.
