(grin) Theoretical ones are more available! Actually, we were pretty close. The reason I put distress-anguish so high is that there was some disagreement as to whether the irritability and brittleness comes from that or from anger-rage.
The next questions that jump to my mind are: 1. So, would you say that this person lives between the avoid and attack-other poles (at least during manic phases)? and 2. Is this method of dealing with shame the CAUSE of his or her mania or is it the RESULT of the biological defect in the regulation of interest-excitement? Answering my own question...I guess it would be the result of the defect...so, is this a shame illness?
