This thread about people acting out fantasies online and how it relates to a person's "real" life is fascinating. Thank you all for contributing. My opinion is that some people DO get into problems acting out their fantasies online, but this probably reflects difficulties they are experiencing in their ftf life. And I think that whenever anybody SUBSTITUTES anything for their "real life" (i.e., face-to-face, in-person relationships), they are in trouble.
