I need ideas for my dissertation!

I am a Clinical Psychology graduate student and am in the process of starting my dissertation proposal. I am quite fascinated by the internet, especially internet chat rooms, and would like to do my dissertation on something internet-related, and preferably with a multicultural angle. However, the more I research the psychology of the internet, the more confused I become. So many topics, so little time. Does anyone have any ideas on what might make interesting CLINICALLY RELEVANT dissertation topics? If not, does anyone have any strategy ideas on how I can narrow down my search?
