Thanks for your post, Meaghan. Indeed there are many useful advantages to e-mail support groups. For those who are interested, Storm King has done a great deal of research into this topic ( http://www.concentric.net/~Astorm).
Meaghan, what do you think of the criticisms that some people have raised against using e-mail for such work? For example, you never know for sure who is sending the e-mail to the group, and you never know for sure who is reading the mail from the list (confidentiality issues).
