Christopher,
You have presented an interesting commentary of who I am as a person. I am intrigued. You seem to be suggesting that I have attempted to blacken and discredit (denigrate) Robin's intellectual inconsistencies (a complex mixture of subjective and objective knowledge projected as omnipotent universal truths of collective human consciousness phenomena) so that I can happily stroke myself with the purpose that only after his intellectual destruction is made manifest in this public forum can I ever hope to appear correct with my own knowledge. Have I got your drift here Christopher?
You then go on to outline what methods I could best utilize to get the dirty deed done -- such as subtle logical word plays, semantic traps, and clever questions which demand never ending definitions from Robin (as aids to keep him self-absorbed and mislead) while my secret process in subterfuge can then proceed to a glorious climax in self-appreciation to satisfy the hunger of my twisted ego. In celebration I can then hang yet another poor saps' crushed intellectual soul as a memorable trophy (with Robin's name forever embellished on it) and hide the terrible deed deep within my dark psyche so as to further give subjective indication of my unbounded sophist philosophy. Have I appreciated the general meaning of your sport metaphor Christopher?
The statements made by you that I find by far the most intriguing, stimulating, and I think given by you Christopher to me to add fuel to my "intellectual aggression" (your definition) is that I am unable to resolve paradoxes myself. And you further claim that I can be utterly destroyed intellectually by someone who can resolve paradoxes.
Gee wiz, Christopher. Golly. Well, I just can't resist asking you know. I just gotta know. Might that someone be you Christopher Hills?
So if you want to play ball Christopher, then let's by all means play. Only this time let us remember the rules of the game. We are in cyberspace in this dialogue Christopher. Words on a screen are our ONLY communication. Words have power supreme in this existence. They can hurt and they can heal. They can reveal truths and they can hide lies.
You have declared me to be a sophist, Christopher. Analyze my posts and prove your posit! If not, I cheerfully say you are the sophist, Christopher Hills.
Best wishes,
Dale R. Smith, (Not Always Just An Ordinary Guy)
P. S.
With your permission John. Just some good old fashioned dialogue.
