    I understand your point, but my question is directed to selecting patients for the particular therapy we practice. For example, I practice Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, probably a kin to Control Mastery. But I have observed that some clients do better with a more cognitive approach as suggested by Dr. Pretzer. My question, directed to Drs. Pretzer and Broitman have to do with that issue. But in a sense, you are right. It would appear that different approaches lead to different conceptualizations of pathology. But I await Drs. Broitman and Pretzer to give their views
