    Re:Alice Miller on the Roots of Violence

    The main purpose was to stimulate thinking about the kind of early childhood influences that might provoke people into adopting a goal of wanting to terrify or destroy other people.

    If you intimidate, abuse, or terrify a child, he might wish for a future where he can turn the tables and do the same, or worse, to others. If his fear, pain, and hatred is deep enough, it might be compensated by a dream of mass destruction.
