Do you think it is possible to provide direct training to children in a classroom to improve their mental health or do you think this can only be done through appropriate (democratic, logical consequences, etc.) interactions with parents and teachers? I have seen R.E.T. based programs that attempt to train children in rational thinking and self-esteem programs that focus on helping children discover their strengths. If it was up to you what type of programs would elementary schools provide to their students?
