Re:Reduced Tuition for Summer Seminar Until May 10th!

I have just discovered this wonderful site and I am delighted that Adler is represented!

I am an Irish-Australian GP (general medical practitioner). The focus of my interest is the relationship of psychology to sociology. Associated with my own psychopathology (and it's resolution!), I am deeply interested in Adler's socialist sympathies and his relationship to Marx.

In particular, Rozen's biography of Freud and his movement refers to a reputed association with Trotsky, whose biography of Stalin is the most fascinating description of the relationhip between individual and social psycho-pathology I have ever read.

Although I am not able to attend your Summer Seminar series, I am visiting San Francisco between 20-30 May. I would welcome an opportunity to discuss the possibility of studying these aspects of Adler through / with you.
