    Re: Laziness Too?

Laziness may be used to defeat a coersive parent or for the pleasure of being served by a pampering parent. Children are usually quite adept at selecting the most effective strategy that capitalizes on the sensitivies of their caretakers. Being a slowpoke works well with adults who are in a hurry; looking sloppy is effective with adults who are very concerned with appearance; school problems are potent weapons against parents who are educators. Trial and error experiments eventually reveal the "hot spots" of the adults.
