The Fall 1997 issue of the Journal of Cognitive Psychotherapy is devoted to an integrative dialogue between Adlerians, Cognitive-behavior therapists and constructivists. The authors show the commonalites among these approaches and how each may benefit from the other's perspectives and methods. The final two articles by Watkins and Dowd provide a useful summary and direction for future work and dialogue.
Adler is also given brief mention in Hyer, Brandsma and Shealy's chapter, Expereintial Mood Therapy with the MCMI-III, in Retzlaff's Tactical Psychotherapy of the Personality Disorders (Allyn & Bacon, 1995, p. 218, 2nd paragragh).
