It is very encouraging to hear about interest in Adler's theory from different parts of the world. A good place to start your study would be to read two introductory books, "What Life Could Mean to You" and "Understanding Human Nature," by Alfred Adler. For the next level of study, reading "The Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler" and "Superiority and Social Interest," edited by Heinz and Rowena Ansbacher would provide excerpted material organized by topics. Then, for a study of psychopathology, the new translation of Adler's "The Neurotic Character" is essential. To learn more about practice, read "Classical Adlerian Theory and Practice" at http://go.ourworld.nu/hstein/theoprac.htm and browse through the abundance of articles at http://go.ourworld.nu/hstein/ . Eventually, you might want to consider the mentor-oriented distance training offered at http://go.ourworld.nu/hstein/dist-tra.htm .
