Re:When behavior is motivated by revenge.

I can tell my topic has inflamed the imagination of my fellow Adlerians so I will now report on the results of this intervention. Within a week the retraction statement came (not months and investigations later) and our staff member did not have to leave the unit. The patient promises that he is done with false allegations. This is by no means the end for this patient. Now I need to effectively address the pattern in individual therapy. I am sure it will happen again. I have plenty of history and life-style information to tell me that. Much of it I am sure is lies. Nevertheless, it is a good window into his thought process and world view. Any favorite approaches in situations such as this. I'm just curious about directions others would want to try.
