Alfred Adler

I have a question about a quote of Alfred Adler....
He said: "The truth is often a terrible weapon of aggression. It is possible to lie, and even to murder with the truth."

The information I need is when he said or where he wrote that quote....and second I need your opinion about the meaning......!
