Depending again on how one defines meditation, Michael Samuels, M.D., Bolinas, California, offered a slide presentation on "The Healing Journey Inward: Art As a Healing Force" at the NICABM Conference in 1996 and has a printed abstract to accompany. Also presumably could connect you to other written resources.
