This discussion brings up a question for me... I am DID or BPD -- however you like to diagnose -- a couple of months ago I starting doing meditation "with" parts. That evolved into sending metta (lovingkindness meditation) to "parts of self". I found this very effective and integrating. I'm wondering how "metta" is used, if at all, with a BPD population. It seems, at first glance, that such a population would respond well to such a gentle and affirming approach, but, well, nothing's ever that simple, right...?! Thanks...
