    Another BOL forum revolves around the Nathanson/Tomkins issues of affect theory. Affect theory has gone a long way to explain why some anti-depressants work for some people but not for others. Suggestion: read Shame and Pride: Affect Sex and the Birth of the Self, by Nathanson, and explore some of the discussions in that forum.
    Also explore natural remedies which are sometimes less likely to produce extreme side effects in some people (?)...
