It is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to learn Taiji from a video tape!!!
Would you attempt to learn to play violin from a video tape, or ballet dancing, or swimming, or Flamenco? Taijiquan is a very complex system. It is most important that you have a competent instructor to carefully correct your progress each step of the way. Attending a weekend course, or series of weekend courses even .. is hardly the way to master this profound art. I suggest you find a teacher who trains every morning at dawn, modify your life style, make time to learn the steps accurately & to do your personal daily training. I assure you the benefits are great.
