    aikido in dual-diagnosis treatment...
Stephen Trinkle · 4/13/98 at 9:43 PM ET

Dr. Spira, (or whoever is reading this...I'm new to this type of forum...) I am an addictions counselor working with dual diagnosed, residential and outpatient clients. I am hoping to begin offering some aikido training as a voluntary part of treatment. Our instructor is 4th dan. I am looking for suggestions, thoughts, warnings, support etc. on this venture.*@*@My belief is that the structured and respectful atmosphere of the dojo, the strenuous physical exertion, and the meditative nature of the practice will be of benefit. My e-mail address is bakabaka@erols.com and I would welcome any response. (well, perhaps not ANY response...) Thanks, Stephen Trinkle, CAC.
