Re:Qigong- Qi or self hypnosis

Why must it be "one" or "the other?" It is just what it is, and any metaphor (Chi or Self-hypnosis) we apply to it is merely our construction. We create God in our own image, and in the same way, we create metaphors of our world in terms that are convenient/familiar to us. That does not make it real. Still, our "understanding" of Chi Kung can serve well to reveal our need to understand.
