I have had some interesting, although limited and non-empirically-based experience treating anxiety induced nausea in psychiatric patients. I refer you to "Hypnotically Induced Control of Nausea: A Preliminary Report" in the Journal of Psychosomatic Research, Vol 45, No 3. I suspect that any treatment approach with this kind of problem would be most effective if instituted at the very beginning or even prior to the noxious stimuli to minimize the effect of negative conditioning on the patient.
