Hello, I imagine this issue might be targeted for publication in the first part of 2005 (I'm getting ready the next issue now, and the one following that is conceptually dealing with issues raised in Peter Philippson's book - on "self"- but after that we are open to what is available). I am curious if any of you might want to throw your hats into the ring as those who will contribute. You might write a research article, a case study, a first-person narrative, a piece of fiction, or a piece of poetry. If it is particularly "creative" writing that you think of, then please contact Mae Tang (maetang@NU-IT.DEMON.CO.UK) with your ideas. If it is a more formal article or a case study, please contact me (phil@g-gej.org). Or just share your ideas and questions here, because what you say might stimulate someone else. Thanks,
I am wondering if any of you would like to participate in an issue of the on-line journal, Gestalt!, on sexuality. I would like to explore our sexuality in an issue of the journal, and so I'm inviting others to participate. Perhaps you've thought about the ethics of sex, the power differentials, the sensuous nature of it and, thus, the whole phenomenology of being sexual, feeling sexual, thinking sexual thoughts, and acting in sexual ways. Can we examine these things through the lens of Gestalt therapy? Can we address sexuality in therapeutic relationship?
Philip Brownell, M.Div., Psy.D.
Sr. Editor, Gestalt!
