I doubt if you are going to find much on this specific topic. I reviewed the Gestalt therapy research for The Gestalt Journal in 1984 and found nothing on the treatment of depresson per se. Les Greenberg continues to publish a lot of research, I don't know if he has gotten into treating depression or not. Another problem I see with your proposal is to compare Gestalt therapy with humanistic approaches when Gestalt therapy falls under the umbrella of Humistic/phenomenological/existential approaches.
