Hi Claire ! You were interested in what approach the Norwegian gestalt institute has to psychosynthesis.

At the institute we are trained to use a typical "psychosynthesis meditation"; that is the an exercise in dis-identification: To affirm with conviction during meditation and to become aware of the fact that: -I have a body, but I am not my body. -I have an emotional life, but I am not my emotions or my feelings. -I have an intellect , but I am not my intellect.

Besides this, we have for instance spent a week-end on " a hero`s journey"; that is to visualize during guided meditation our personal way to handle differents situations and life circumstances.

    Best regards.
