How many times over the years have I heard from people whose need to emotionalize what they could not otherwise comprehend, how articulating that which exists without words somehow "kills" it.... as though the existence of "it" was dependent upon them for its protection. Arrogance is akin to ignorance which is akin to the "liberal" denial syndrome. If one understands the concepts of Spirituality hidden within the couplets of Lao Tzu, rather than simply reading and studying the couplets of Lao Tzu, one exhibits a modicum of humility. The lack of humility is a sign of the liberal denial syndrome active in good (but ignorant) people.
