As I understand it, the so called "Gestaltherapy 'prayer'" is a masterpiece of Perls and of Gestaltherapy. It is not at all just a product of his time, but the expression of aspects of the essential core of Gestaltherapy, of being deeply respectfull for the difference of the Other, and of myself, and on responsability. I regret that some coleagues disregard it... As I understand it, it was important in the past, it is important in present and it will be important in the future, as a classic piece, together with whatever interestingly new we might invent...
