First time on this list so please forgive if this seems inappropriate or has been previously stated.
I thought that confidentiality statements/$ issues were consideredto be a legal condition of your license. In addition to that legal condition is the personal responsible that the therapist must always be mindful of when treating a client. Licensing has of course never been a sure-cure for ethical behavior but if we add that caveat to also taking responsibility for what we do in session then confidentiality and other related issues should not be a problem.
Is this perhaps not a question of confidentiality at all?
