Phil, Consensus also mediates against us discovering new or yet to be experienced Gestalts. I too have faith that their is something out their beyond us that reflects back and brings meaning to the self (individual). I feel that which gives us "connectedness" is our persuit of meaning and our attempts at better understanding one and other.....................Ed
