With 100 or so projects demanding my time, I am oft unable to complete something within the time restraints others place on me.
For reasons of no interest here, the last couple of weeks have made demands on my role as a Licensed Coast Guard Captain to move a ship that I helped build over 30 years ago from its winter home to the yard where it will be recommissioned for another season of sailing on the Hudson River.
Additionally, I am involved in a new project, tentatively called "Gestalt Dialogues," that will appear shortly here on Behavior Online. It will have brief, provocative papers by leading Gestalt theoreticians designed to elicit responses. Selected responses will be threaded in the hope of creating yet another contribution to the body of Gestalt literature.
In order to transcend the obvious limitations of the Internet, other technologies such as fax, etc., will be used to engage those not "on-line" in the ongoing dialogues.
Every six months the dialogues will be "freeze framed" and published as a print journal.
So, if you miss me when I am gone, there will be an announcement about where to find me posted here soon.
Joe
