Hear, hear! For the immediate response. It is risky. And sometimes also appropriate because it can be revealing of the person. There is a place for each in communication. There is also a place for the considered response as some responses take some unravelling. The awareness of the thinker/writer is what makes the difference, not the labelling adult vs adolescent. Anyway, spontaneity is childlike. Meeting, eyes meeting, both laugh the laughter of their delight in their presence/ present-ness.
