    Thanks for this material.

    Problem: I scanned the material but saw no explanation that accounts for the content of their madness, a separate question from simply calling them mad.

    The same problem exists in most accounts of the Andrea Yates's murders.

    We go nuts, when we go nuts, in fairly predictable ways. Which implies that going nuts is not so nutty.
