7th International Congress on Ericksonian Approaches to Hypnosis Psychotherapy: A Tribute to Jay Haley December 8 - 12, 1999 Phoenix, Arizona
The Milton H. Erickson Foundation will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in 1999 with the 7th International Congress on Ericksonian Approaches to Hypnosis and Psychotherapy.
The Congress has three components:
(1) The Erickson Congress with keynotes by Ernest Rossi, Paul Watzlawick and Jeffrey K. Zeig; workshops by Alman, Barber, Dolan, Erickson, Fisch, Gilligan, Lankton, Loriedo, Miller, Weiner-Davis, Yapko, and 31 additional experts in Ericksonian psychotherapy. The Congress features demonstrations, panels, dialogues, and conversation hours. There also is a call for solicited short courses.
(2) There will be a Tribute to Jay Haley, honoring the man and his contributions to the field of psychotherapy, all day Saturday, December 11. The Tribute will include keynotes by Jay Haley, Salvador Minuchin and Lyman Wynne; invited papers and workshops by more than 21 experts in strategic therapy. The day will end with a festive banquet. There is a call for solicited workshops for this component.
(3) A Fundamental Hypnosis course will be offered with Stephen Gilligan, Stephen Lankton, Ernest Rossi, Michael Yapko and Jeffrey Zeig on the fundamentals of Ericksonian hypnosis, for a total of 15 hours of training.
Continuing Education for all three components is available. The Erickson Foundation is applying to several accrediting agencies to provide credits to health/mental health professionals
