My 27 year old visited for the holidays and showed me how to redecorate my screensaver for Windows '95. The command sequence is:
Minimize all Windows
Right-click on the wallpaper
Choose "properties" on the drop-down menu
Choose "screensaver"
Choose "3-D flying objects" (which is a waving flag)
Choose "Options"
Choose "texture"
Select whatever bitmap you have on disk and that image will replace the Microsoft logo on the waving flag.
I've scanned some old photos of Darwin, Huxley, and a few others into bmp format and use them for wallpaper, screen savers, or to decorate envelopes for evolution-relevant mailings. I am also shading them into a light gray and then superimposing ads and other text on top for greater visual impact. I would like to build a collection of evolution bitmaps and swap or to send them out for cost of postage and a 3.5 inch diskette. (No copyrighted material please!) Reach me at jbrody@compuserve.com
